HypnoBirthing® The Mongan Method is a full ante-natal programme with an emphasis on self-hypnosis and relaxation techniques for a natural, easier and more comfortable birth. The results can be amazing! This program is now taught from many UK hospitals and even Kate Middleton is reported to have used it for the birth of her son George.
The Fertile Body Method is a mind body approach to fertility which acknowledges the importance of working with fertility problems in a holistic way. It uses therapeutic techniques to facilitate inner change – the use of hypnosis/guided imagery/relaxation which is used in many of the techniques can help to create the optimum state for change to occur. Sessions are tailored for the client’s individual needs, using a combination of hypnosis, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioural approaches and other mind-body techniques. All of the techniques used in the Fertile Body Method are used to positively impact on physical wellbeing and mental and spiritual balance and have been proven to increase chances of pregnancy.
My Pregnancy Yoga classes will help mums prepare physically and mentally for labour and birth. We discuss different topics about pregnancy and birth at the beginning of each yoga class.
Yoga has many benefits including promoting a happier, healthier pregnancy, stress relief, optimal fetal positioning, strength, lymphatic drainage and support.
My Postnatal Yoga classes (with baby) offer benefits including emotional support for mums, stress relief, specific exercise to restore the core and aid diastasis, relief from aching back and shoulders, hormone balance and bonding with baby.
